This year has flown by and who can believe that it’s less than 5 weeks away from Christmas Day!
We’re definitely getting into the festive spirit with the The Reigate Christmas Fayre coming to town next Saturday 2nd December. The day begins with Father Christmas arriving by helicopter in the Priory Park and then the Fayre itself starts at 12pm. Church Street is closed to traffic all day and the road is lined with traditional Christmas stalls, donkey rides and street food.
Monty the Massive Monkey!
This Christmas, we would like to fill our prominent high street windows with art work from local children over the festive period and with the in mind we are running a colouring competition, the winner of which will receive an enormous cuddly monkey called Monty!
On Saturday, we will have our office set up for children to come and create their masterpieces with pens, pencils, refreshments and plenty of festive spirit, which we hope will add to the special community day.
NB the local council is also feeling festive- all Reigate Town Centre carparks are free for the day!
